John Atkinson

About Me

John Atkinson is the Technical Director at DSK Solutions. Prior to joining DSK, John was the Director of Technology at a netFORUM association management company for four years where he led all technology initiatives including netFORUM implementations and custom development. He has managed many netFORUM data conversions and migrations, including complex integrations with third parties, SSO, multicurrency, credentialing engines, job boards, event registrations and shopping carts. John’s mission is to enable and empower clients to get the most out of netFORUM so they can leverage the system as a tool to meet their organizations mission and vision. John has an extensive technical background, including expertise as an SAP software developer, systems analyst, and business warehouse architect. John’s extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, network and server administration, development (.NET, VB, JavaScript), database operations, disaster recovery/business continuity, and systems integration, gives him a broad base of knowledge with which to serve DSK’s clients. John holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems as well as Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, and is currently pursuing an MBA.

John was born and raised in Bowling Green, KY.  He is an avid golfer and loves watching his University of Kentucky Wildcats.  He has a wonderful wife and two beautiful kids.
